The owner of a car wash spoke out after a group started fighting with metal poles just outside.
No employee of the Shiny Hand Car Wash in Nottingham Road, Basford, was involved in the scuffle, the owner of the company said.
Shocking footage showed the moment the mass brawl erupted around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27.
It shows a group of men throwing punches while others attempt to hit each other with what witnesses described as metal poles.
Shiny Hand Car Wash owner Aziz Advi told Nottinghamshire Live: “It had nothing to do with the car wash or any of my employees.
“They started going into the car wash and I thought they were customers – but they weren’t, instead they were arguing.
“In the video, it looks like someone from the car wash could have been involved – but it had nothing to do with the car wash.
“I saw them and they immediately started fighting. I work with the police and I let them use my camera which was recording at the time, so we are helping the police.”
At the end of the video, a group of men enter a BMW before appearing to walk away from the scene.
Eyewitness Si Clark previously said, “From what I saw the boy in the blue BMW came out and started on some guys.
” It all started from there. “
